A brief update over the weeks in KL.
Well, orientation was still okay. A few programs were boring and the final party was kind of a wet blanket. But it was better than I expected, the part of meeting new friends and all.
We barely had any class the first week, just a lecture intro or two. But the orientation for FNBE students on Saturday was actually quite fun (: Although it was mainly running around the whole campus but it was much better than the freshmen's orientation. We were suppose to design a model that glides in the air for the longest period of time while protecting an egg from cracking when thrown from a 5 storey high building, USING STRAWS AND TAPE ONLY. Most of the other teams did parachute kind of models but our group did an epic aeroplane shape! Cause well we wanted the aerofoil shape and according to bernouli's theory it works but not for us, our group is the group with the least time and a craked egg. HAHAHAHAHAHA. But oh well, we enjoyed (:
There were quite a number of first times in the first two weeks here. An example would be my first time waiting for a bus for almost 1 hour and 15 min, and in the end the bus still did not come ._. And hopefully there's more to come (: I'm already having 3 assignments to due soon. It's just the right amount to keep me slightly busy to stop eating so much, Oh well :D
I realise things usually never go the way I planned or imagine. If I imagine the best, the worst would happen and vice versa. Is it wrong now to hope for the best? I really just pray my college life would be better, and not just half bucket full kind of life.
Here are some of my pictures for the photography competition everyone is required to join, scences from lakeside campus. Any suggestions for which picture should I send in? (:
